Druid Lodge is situated on Killiney Hill on the East Coast of Ireland, 7 miles south of Dublin City Centre overlooking Killiney Bay.

We are easily accessed via Dublin Airport, Dublin Port, Dun Laoghaire Port, the N11 motorway and the DART electric commuter train.

From City Centre

by car (30 mins.)

  • follow signs for Dun Laoghaire car ferry
  • from Dun Laoghaire follow the coastline through Dalkey and on to Killiney
  • Pass the Shell petrol station your right hand side at the entrance to Dalkey village, take the next right turn followed by an immediate left turn up the hill
  • Continue all the way up to the top of the Hill, just after the brow of the hill vere right down the hill passing the Druid's Chair pub
  • Continue down the hill for another couple hundred metres, the road levels off slightly, and following two bends in the road you'll see Druid Lodge on the right hand side of the road opposite a small patch of grass with small painted white stones on it

By public transport (24 mins.)

  • Take a southbound DART from Pearse or Tara Street Station to Killiney Station (24 mins.)
  • Leaving Killiney DART station take a right turn and follow the coast road for approx. 300 metres, taking a left turn up Saintbury Avenue (or Kilmore Avenue as its also known) - a narrow shady lane winding up the hill up as far as Killiney Hill Road
  • Druid Lodge is directly opposite the intersection of the lane with the main road

From Airport

By Car (45 mins.)

  • Drive South towards the City Centre, follow signs for the East Link Toll Bridge, follow signs for Dun Laoghaire car ferry
  • From Dun Laoghaire follow the coastline through Dalkey and on to Killiney. Pass the Shell petrol station your right hand side at the entrance to Dalkey village, take the next right turn followed by an immediate left turn up the hill
  • Continue all the way up to the top of the Hill, just after the brow of the hill vere right down the hill passing the Druid's Chair pub

  • Take Aircoach to any DART Station in City Centre
  • Take a southbound DART to Killiney Station (24 mins.)

By car (10 mins.)

  • Follow coastline south towards Dalkey village

By car

  • Take a southbound DART to Killiney Station (24 mins.)
  • Leaving the station take a right turn. Walk 200 metres and take a left turn up Saintbury Avenue (or Kilmore Avenue) as its also known - a narrow shady lane winding up the hill up as far as Killiney Hill Road. Druid Lodge is directly opposite the intersection of the lane with the main road

From the N11

Driving south

  • Drive south from Dublin City along the N11 motorway
  • Follow sign for Killiney at Loughlinstown intersection
  • Proceed through to the third set of traffic lights. Take a right turn followed by an immediate sharp left turn. You are now on Killiney Avenue. The Avenue winds up the hill until you come to a T-junction. Take a right turn, followed by a left turn at the next intersection onto Killiney Hill Road
  • Druid Lodge is the first house on the left

Driving north

  • From N11 take a right turn at Loughlinstown intersection
  • Proceed through to the third set of traffic lights. Take a right turn followed by an immediate sharp left turn. You are now on Killiney Avenue. The Avenue winds up the hill until you come to a T-junction
  • Take a right turn, followed by a left turn at the next intersection onto Killiney Hill Road. Druid Lodge is the first house on the left
